Planning your 2027 exhibition calendar starts with knowing which European trade fairs matter to your market, when they take place, and how much preparation your stand requires. This guide to upcoming exhibitions in Europe 2027 brings together selected events from AARS Worldwide’s European trade show calendar and adds practical planning guidance for exhibitors.
The European exhibition calendar covers very different industries, from technology and manufacturing to food, healthcare, retail, design and logistics. A company exhibiting at EuroShop in Düsseldorf has different requirements from a brand preparing for Maison & Objet in Paris or PLMA in Amsterdam.

Trade Shows in Europe 2027 - Full Calendar
The trade shows in Europe 2027 calendar already covers a broad range of business sectors and European markets. Early-year events include Heimtextil, Maison & Objet, IMM Cologne, Fitur Madrid, Integrated Systems Europe, Biofach, EuroShop and JEC World. Later in the year, exhibitors will find events such as A+A Düsseldorf, DSEI London, Interlift, FSB Cologne, Agritechnica and other specialist fairs.
The important point for exhibitors is not to treat this as one long list. A better approach is to filter the calendar by industry, country, timing and commercial objective.
For example, a technology company might shortlist Integrated Systems Europe, Embedded World or Data Centre World. A food or consumer-goods company has a different set of opportunities, including ISM, Fruit Logistica, PLMA and Ambiente.
The full AARS calendar contains the wider list of European events and should be used for date checking as plans develop.
How to Use This Calendar to Plan Your Exhibition Stand
The event should come before the stand.
Once your team has shortlisted a fair, record the confirmed exhibition dates, city, venue requirements, stand space and internal marketing deadline. Then work backwards.
A custom stand requires more planning than a straightforward modular installation because the concept, drawings, materials, production and logistics all need to align before the exhibition opens.
A custom stand requires more planning than a straightforward modular installation because the concept, drawings, materials, production and logistics all need to align before the exhibition opens.
Your calendar should therefore contain at least four checkpoints:
This approach becomes especially important when two European exhibitions fall close together. A brand exhibiting in Germany in March and another European market shortly afterward needs a production and logistics plan that accounts for both projects.
Major European Trade Fairs by Month in 2027
The European trade fairs 2027 calendar is spread across the entire year, but some periods are significantly busier than others. The following highlights are selected from AARS’s current calendar rather than attempting to reproduce every event.
Q1 2027 - January to March
The first quarter starts strongly.
Heimtextil is listed for 12-15 January 2027, followed by Maison & Objet in Paris from 14-18 January. CMT Stuttgart runs from 16-24 January, while IMM Cologne is scheduled for 19-22 January. Fitur Madrid follows from 20-24 January, with Boot Düsseldorf from 23-31 January.
March brings another concentrated group of industry events. JEC World is listed lfor 2-4 March, MWC for 4-7 March, MIPIM for 15-19 March, and LogiMAT for 16-18 March.
For exhibitors targeting Q1, stand planning should begin well before the calendar year starts. January events arrive quickly after the Christmas period, leaving little room for late design decisions.
Q2 2027 - April to June
Spring brings another strong sequence of European exhibitions.
June remains busy. Intersolar is scheduled for 8–10 June, Laser World of Photonics for 22–25 June, and Spoga+Gafa Cologne for 15–17 June.
Q2 is particularly relevant for companies working across several specialist industries. Manufacturing, chemicals, energy, food, automotive and consumer sectors all have events in this period.
Q3 2027 - July to September
The summer period is followed by a strong September schedule.
AARS’s calendar lists DSEI London for 7–10 September 2027, A+A Düsseldorf for 19–22 September, FachPack for 21–23 September, and Abilmente for 24–27 September.
For businesses with multiple autumn events, September should be treated as a production and logistics planning period rather than a starting point. Stand graphics, technical specifications, transport arrangements and installation schedules should already be under control.
Q4 2027 - October to December
The final quarter includes several specialist European events.
Interlift is listed for 12-15 October, FSB Cologne for 26-29 October, Agritechnica for 14-20 November, and Stainless Steel 2027 for 16-18 November.
The concentration of late-year exhibitions makes scheduling particularly relevant for companies running several projects at once. A single production plan should account for the exhibition dates, delivery windows and dismantling requirements of every active project.
Trade Shows in Europe 2027 by Country
Country selection is useful when an exhibitor is expanding into a particular European market. AARS already maintains dedicated exhibition stand pages for these countries, so the highlights below are intended for event discovery rather than detailed stand-service information.
Germany
Germany has one of the broadest exhibition calendars in Europe, with strong activity across technology, manufacturing, consumer goods, logistics and specialist industries.
Selected 2027 events include IMM Cologne, 19-22 January, EuroShop Düsseldorf, 18-22 February, and European Coatings Show Nuremberg, 20-22 April.
For stand design specific to German trade fairs, see our Germany exhibition stand page.
France
France combines established international exhibitions with specialist events across design, technology, agriculture and healthcare.
Selected events include Maison & Objet Paris, 14-18 January, WAICF, 10-11 February, and PharmagoraPlus, 13-14 March 2027. AARS’s calendar also lists Wine Paris from 15-17 February; AARS identifies WAICF 2027 as taking place in Cannes, France.

Spain
Spain has a particularly varied exhibition calendar, with strong activity in tourism, technology, gaming, printing and retail.
Selected events include C!PRINT Madrid, 12-14 January, ICE Barcelona, 18-20 January, and Fitur Madrid, 20-24 January 2027. AARS also lists Intergift Madrid and other Spanish events during the year.

Netherlands
The Netherlands has a strong international exhibition presence, particularly around Amsterdam and the private-label, retail and B2B sourcing sectors.
The AARS calendar confirms PLMA 2027, 25-26 May 2027. PLMA’s official event information confirms that the 2027 World of Private Label will be held at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.
For stand design specific to Dutch trade fairs, see our Netherlands exhibition stand page.
UK
London remains a major European destination for technology, infrastructure and specialist business events.
AARS’s calendar lists Data Centre World London, 10-11 March 2027 and DSEI London, 7-10 September 2027. Both are relevant to businesses targeting specialised technology, infrastructure and defence-sector audiences.
For stand design specific to UK trade fairs, see our UK exhibition stand page.
How to Choose Which European Trade Fair to Exhibit At
A long event calendar does not automatically make a good exhibition strategy. The right event is the one that connects your commercial objective with the audience you need to meet.
Match the Exhibition to Your Business Objective
Start by defining the outcome.
If the objective is distributor acquisition, look for a specialist B2B event with the right trade audience. If the objective is product demonstration, prioritise a venue where visitors have enough time and reason to engage with the product.
For a company entering a new European market, location matters too. A fair in Germany serves a different geographic strategy from one in Spain or the Netherlands.
Compare Location, Timing and Audience
The date is only one part of the decision.
Compare the event’s country, city, industry focus and position within your annual marketing calendar. Two exhibitions held within the same month might compete for the same internal marketing budget, sales team and stand-production resources.
Venue access also matters. A stand designed for one European venue is not automatically suitable for another because technical rules, delivery procedures and installation windows differ.
Build a Shortlist Before Booking Your Stand
Keep the first shortlist practical.
Identify three to five events that fit your market. Compare their dates, location, audience, exhibition objectives and expected stand requirements. Then decide which events deserve a full stand project.
This approach also gives your production partner enough visibility to identify overlapping projects early.
Planning Your Exhibition Stand Around the 2027 Calendar
Once the exhibition calendar is confirmed, stand planning should follow a structured timeline.
AARS Worldwide provides custom, modular, double-decker and country pavilion stands, along with booth setup, installation and dismantling and audio-visual services.
Lead Times by Stand Type
The right planning window depends on the complexity of the build.
A modular stand generally involves a more standardised construction approach. A custom stand requires greater attention to concept development, technical drawings, materials, branding and production. Double-decker and country pavilion projects add further structural and coordination considerations.
For a 2027 exhibition, the practical approach is to start planning as soon as the event participation and stand space are confirmed. Waiting until the final weeks compresses design approvals, production and logistics into the same period.
Design, Production and On-Site Installation
A typical exhibition stand project moves through several connected stages.
First comes the brief: booth size, brand requirements, products, meeting needs, storage, demonstrations and visitor flow. The design team then develops the stand concept and visual direction.
After approval, the project moves into production. Materials, graphics, furniture, lighting and technical elements are prepared according to the approved design.
Logistics follow production. Delivery needs to match the organiser’s access schedule and venue rules. On-site teams then assemble the stand, complete branding and technical elements, inspect the finished space and prepare it for opening.
After the exhibition, dismantling completes the project.
This sequence is particularly important for companies exhibiting at several European fairs during the same quarter because production and installation schedules need to work together.
Why Exhibitors Plan Their 2027 Calendar With AARS Worldwide
AARS Worldwide SP.Z.o.o combines more than 20 years of exhibition industry experience with 1,500+ stands delivered. The company has in-house manufacturing and a presence across Poland, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Italy and Spain.
That geographic footprint matters for exhibitors planning multiple European events. Instead of treating every country as an entirely separate project, businesses can work with one European exhibition partner across several markets.
One European Partner Across Multiple Markets
A multi-country exhibition calendar creates its own management challenge.
An exhibitor might attend a German technology fair in March, an Italian industry event in May and a UK event later in the year. Using separate suppliers for every market adds another layer of communication and project management.
AARS’s presence across Poland, France, the Netherlands, UK, Italy and Spain gives exhibitors a European partner with an established presence in multiple markets.
The company’s portfolio also spans sectors including food and FMCG, pharma, chemicals, tyres, banking and finance, logistics and packaging.
From Stand Concept to Dismantling
AARS manages the exhibition project from stand concept and production through logistics, setup, installation and dismantling, with audio-visual services available as part of its exhibition offering.
The difference is the company’s own operating structure: 20+ years of industry experience, 1,500+ stands delivered, in-house manufacturing and a presence across six European markets.
